Great Southeast Pollinator Census

Drop in for some citizen science!

We all know that bees and butterflies are important members of the ecosystem because they pollinate flowering plants, but did you know that flies, beetles and wasps also are pollinators? Did you know that there are more than 500 species of bee native to North Carolina? Come join us to sharpen your insect identification skills and gather useful data for biologists.

We will be hosting pollinator counts as part of the Great Southeast Pollinator Census.

All materials and instruction provided.
All ages and abilities are welcome!

Counting only takes 15 minutes.
